Environment<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMBC.FiVE provides financing to a wide range of companies, both innovative and non-innovative, in a variety of forms to best meet their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With financial resources totaling \u20ac24,177,196.01, IMBC.FiVE has been financing projects in its region for several months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In just a few months, more than half of IMBC.FiVE\u2019s resources have been allocated to companies in a wide variety of sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bel Fibres, active in paper and cardboard recycling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fairwind, providing solutions to support companies in their energy transition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sita Gastronomia Italiana, a key player in Italian food products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tradyglass, decorator of branded glassware and bottles and manufacturer and decorator of polymer glassware<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My Engineering, a design office supporting industrial projects for pharmaceutical companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La Passion du Bois, artisanal joinery and carpentry specializing in traditional restoration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An investment fund co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Walloon Region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMBC.FiVE is an investment fund co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Walloon Region. It aims to enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to realize their investments and projects. Since its creation in June 2024, IMBC.FiVE has received nearly \u20ac24,000,000 in funding under the 2021\u20132027 ERDF program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMBC.FiVE\u2019s activities fall within the scope of Measure 5b \u201cFinancial instruments (SMEs) \u2013 Financial instrument No. 2 \u2013 Venture capital, innovation support, seed capital and marketing tools,\u201d which comprises three components: \u201cVenture capital tool,\u201d \u201cInnovation support,\u201d and \u201cSeed capital and marketing support,\u201d and Measure 5c \u201cFinancial instruments (SMEs) \u2013 Digital transformation tool for SMEs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Measures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Measure 5b \u2013 Financial instruments (SMEs) \u2013 Venture capital, innovation support, seed capital, and marketing tools<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Alternatively, it may be located in an area that is eligible for the measures implemented by the latter, provided that prior consultation is conducted with the operator of the measure that is usually implemented in that area;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:0.5rem;padding-top:0.5rem;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small);padding-bottom:0.5rem;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small)\">\n<p>It must not be considered to be a company in financial difficulty according to the EU\u2019s definition, unless it is exempt under the de minimis aid or temporary state aid rules established to address exceptional circumstances, as outlined in Article 7 (1) d) of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Regulation 2021\/1058 of June 24, 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:0.5rem;padding-top:0.5rem;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small);padding-bottom:0.5rem;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small)\">\n<p>It must not belong to one of the sectors excluded from the scope of the ERDF, or from the European Regulation applicable in the event of aid being granted (i.e., General Block Exemption Regulation 651\/2014 or Commission \u201cde minimis\u201d Regulation no. 2023\/2831 of December 13, 2023, where applicable);<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:0.5rem;padding-top:0.5rem;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small);padding-bottom:0.5rem;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small)\">\n<p>It must not be subject to a recovery order following the European Commission\u2019s previous decision to declare the aid illegal and incompatible with the common market;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1vw\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in order to secure financing, the project must be analyzed to determine its viability and profitability, based on a business plan that demonstrates the technical, commercial, economic, and financial feasibility of the project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forms of Intervention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Interventions can take the form of various types of fixed-rate loans (such as convertible, secured, subordinated, unsecured, fixed-term, and bullet loans) or equity investments in beneficiary companies, depending on the type of intervention. These interventions can be adjusted according to the company\u2019s needs, the nature of the investments to be made, and the selected aid scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide
