IMBC 2020 had granted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>194<\/strong>financing operations<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>amounting to over<strong> \u20ac57,362,034<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>benefitting around a hundred <strong>companies<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This European program has now come to an end, and S.A. IMBC 2020 has far exceeded its objectives!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An investment fund co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Walloon Region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S.A. IMBC 2020 is an investment fund co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Walloon Region. It aims to enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to realize their investments and projects. Since its creation in December 2016, S.A. IMBC 2020 has received nearly \u20ac37,500,000 in funding under the 2014\u20132020 ERDF program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The activities of S.A. IMBC 2020 fall within the scope of Measure 1.1.2 \u201cCapital and loans in companies, spin-offs and spin-outs \u2013 Venture capital component\u201d (Priority Axis 1 \u201cEconomy 2020\u201d) and Measure 2.3.1 \u201cFinancing innovative companies\u201d (Priority Axis 2 \u201cInnovation 2020\u201d) of the \u201cWallonia-2020.eu\u201d Operational Program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:3vw\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-neutral-accent-background-color has-background has-global-padding products and services,<br\/>a company must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2vh\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group and annual sales not exceeding 50 million euros or annual balance sheet total not exceeding 43 million euros;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:0.5rem;padding-top:0.5rem;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small);padding-bottom:0.5rem;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small)\">\n<p>It must have its headquarters, or undertake to establish such, in the Mons-Borinage districts or the communes of the Centre Region (La Louvi\u00e8re, Le Roeulx, Ecaussinnes, Braine-le-Comte, Soignies, Estinnes, Binche, Morlanwelz, Anderlues, Chapelle-Lez-Herlaimont, Manage and Seneffe in the province of Hainaut);<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"border-width:2px;border-radius:0.5rem;padding-top:0.5rem;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small);padding-bottom:0.5rem;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--x-small)\">\n<p>It must not be considered to be a company in financial difficulty according to the EU\u2019s definition<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imbc.be\/en\/s-a-imbc-2020\/#_ftn2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a>;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" not belong to one of the sectors excluded from the scope of the ERDF, or from the European Regulation applicable in the event of aid being granted (i.e., General Block Exemption Regulation 651\/2014 or \u201cde minimis\u201d Regulation 1407\/2013, where applicable);<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-f2cfed50 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" not be subject to a recovery order following the European Commission\u2019s previous decision to declare the aid illegal and incompatible with the common market;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div pursue a project deemed viable and profitable based on a business plan that demonstrates the company\u2019s overall viability and the technical, commercial, economic, and financial feasibility of the project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1vw\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:3vw\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Forms of Intervention<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Interventions can take the form of various types of fixed-rate loans or the acquisition of equity stakes in beneficiary companies.
