Belgian blue stone has been quarried in Soignies for over 300 years. Today, Les Carri\u00e8res de la Pierre Bleue Belge operates three of the four largest Petit Granit\u2013Pierre Bleue Belge quarries. The company\u2019s high-quality, attractive products are widely distributed in Belgium and beyond for ambitious construction and decorative projects. Open to new markets, the company is a major employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always at the Cutting Edge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This family-run business has called on IMBC several times to finance major investments, such as the purchase of rolling stock, extraction machinery, and heavy equipment. IMBC also helped finance the creation of a new quarry on the Tellier des Pr\u00e9s site, where the first blocks were extracted in 2008. This long-standing collaboration dates back to the very founding of IMBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Carri\u00e8res de la Pierre Bleue Belge\u2019s management relies on a balance of equity capital, bank financing, and IMBC to carry out its investments, it is particularly grateful for the lasting partnership it has developed with IMBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
